What does a Trust Do?

Basic Estate Planning often begins with a Will, which determines not only how your assets will be distributed, but who would care for your minor child(ren). However, Wills are not always the final estate planning document needed for some estates.

A Trust is a fiduciary arrangement that specifies how your assets will be distributed, without the involvement of the probate court. Trusts can be drafted to accommodate a variety of different goals. For instance, you can use a Trust to transfer property, help minimize estate taxes, preserve assets for minors or individuals with special needs, or benefit a charity.

While trusts have the reputation of being expensive, our office offers flat fee options for a basic trust package that will best suit your individual needs.
